Play the guitar like James Taylor and better than Taylor Swift
I love James Taylor, and Jim Croce, John Denver, Simon and Garfunkel…all those singers/song writers. It is not too late to pick up a guitar and entertain yourself!

The guitar lesson-to-practice ratio is 1:100. A one-hour lesson produces one hundred hours of practice, to be accomplished, ideally, in 30 days, followed by another lesson, and the pattern repeats itself for one year. You will be a wonderful guitar player after 365 days. If you want to reach James Taylor status it will require another year. I learned to play when I was ten and have been playing for over 50 years. Playing the guitar has brough me tens of thousands of hours of personal and community enjoyment and fellowship. It has been almost as important to me as learning to read.
